Prefect Ken Zeuner (248-348-2348) asked me to broadcast an email to the membership concerning Sunday's launch. Ken sez:

"If 3 or more flyers call me (248-348-2348) to indicate they will come to Du Russel's to launch rockets, the launch is a GO and we will start set up at 0900. Waiver will open at 1000 as usual. Flyers should expect flight operations to stop around 1300, because by then the frozen ground will start melting and softening, and we must be sensitive to the fields and the access road. This will not be a launch where flyers can plan to sashay in to field at 1400 and plan on putting one up at 1600. This is a 'come early or don't come at all' deal. If the interest expressed to me is underwhelming, the launch will be cancelled, because I won't burn my time and Team-1's fuel money for nothing. 248-348-2348. See you at the field!"
