Prefect Ken Zeuner has asked me to broadcast an email to the membership to gauge the amount of interest in holding a launch event at Manchester on Sunday 01/18/09.

The long-range weather forecast calls for snow showers and a high of 18 degrees.

Ken's biggest concern is the prefecture incurring the fuel cost to haul the trailer there and back. He's probably also concerned about dying a cold and lonely death in the middle of a frozen wasteland if no one else shows up.

If you are interested in flying at Manchester on 01/18/09, please send me an email to let me know. The BoD will make a go/no-go decision and broadcast it to the membership and post it on the web site.
