Michigan Team-1 members:

It’s that time of year again; it’s time to submit nominations for candidates to run for election to the Team-1 Board of Directors.

Article 5 of the Bylaws states:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Section 1. Number and Qualifications The affairs of the corporation shall be governed by a 3 member board of directors. The officers will be a Prefect, Vice-Prefect, and Recording Secretary. Mail Secretary and Treasurer can be appointed by the Prefect. Candidates have to be members in good standing with Tripoli Rocketry Association Inc., and also Tripoli Prefecture 9 Inc. They will also have to have been a member of Team 1 for at least 1 year prior to running for office.

Before you nominate someone, please confirm with that person that they are willing to serve.

Nominations are due by 01/01/09. Please submit nominations by email (preferred) or US Mail to me; I will then prepare ballots in time for the January election.

At this writing (11/26/08) I have received no nominations.
Previously, Ken Zeuner has expressed interest in serving as Prefect again in 2009.
Previously, I announced that after 3 years of service I will step down as Secretary/Treasurer in 2009.
