Prefect Ken Zeuner has been in contact with Farmer Chesnut since my email of 10/28/08. They agreed that Ken would re-contact on Friday evening, 10/31/08, and Farmer Chesnut would provide a status update then. Then the BoD will make a go/no-go decision immediately. Ken believes that attendees deserve a week to change plans if that proves necessary

This is a real nail-biter because when they spoke to each other, the weather prediction was for a number of days of beautiful sunny breezy dry weather, perfect for harvesting. It's obvious that Mr. & Mrs. Chesnut enjoy having rocket enthusiasts use their property for this hobby, and they are distressed that the cards they've been dealt this fall might interfere with that.
